The Music Business Is Over

I'm thinking. How else do you explain brick & mortar stores only carrying select cd's of artists new materials. How do you explain the mish mash of radio singles that all sound like they were produced by the same guy. Who is buying music? Who wants to pay hundreds of dollars for a concert ticket to see an artist when in reality you only liked one of the singles from the record. What happened?

Tools & Technology

I personally am enjoying the technological breakthroughs that seem to be occurring each day. I remember the days of wishing my computer was fast enough to play a music sequence without a hiccup, today i can have multiple instruments and samplers, vocals and more all playing smoothly together. Ram is cheaper than ever, so we no longer have an excuse for not building a kickass machine, evens if its a Mac Book Pro instead of a tower. Digital cameras are of higher quality and out of the box produce great images. No longer do you have the excuse that you need or can't afford a 35mm Film Camera because these days you can get pretty close images. No more excuses, its time to work.
